Info for interested Graduate Students

The Cold Regions Analysis Group (CRAG) of the Geology and Geophysics Department at the University of Wyoming is part of a strong and developing Quaternary Studies Center.

Crag is headed by Prof. Neil Humphrey.  This group is currently well funded with over $3M in outside funding committed in the next 4 years (see the research page).  Prof. Humphrey is currently looking for good graduate students at both the Masters and the PhD level.  Students with a good background in the physics of near surface systems (Geomophology, Geohydrology, Fluvial Hydrology, or strength in quantitative environmental geosciences) are particularly encouraged to investigate our program.  Most graduate work will have a strong component of field work (in Greenland), as well as data analysis and modeling.
