Info for interested Graduate Students
The Cold Regions Analysis
Group (CRAG) of the Geology and Geophysics Department at the University of
Wyoming is part of a strong and developing Quaternary Studies Center.
Crag is headed by
Prof. Neil Humphrey. This group is
currently well funded with over $3M in outside funding committed in the next 4
years (see the research page). Prof. Humphrey is currently looking for good
graduate students at both the Masters and the PhD level. Students with a good background in the
physics of near surface systems (Geomophology, Geohydrology, Fluvial Hydrology, or strength in
quantitative environmental geosciences) are particularly encouraged to
investigate our program. Most graduate
