ANTIDUNE/UPPER PLANE BED TRANSITION

Shows transition from upper plane bed sand transport to antidunes. Repeatedly the antidunes form, migrate upstream, grow, steepen, become unstable and get blown back out into plane bed. Flume is 30 cm across x 30 cm high and total length is 5.1 m.
